Metal Estalki offers its range of biocompatible coatings, especially focused on the coating of implants, fasteners and surgical instruments. The use of PVD coatings in this sector aims to increase surface hardness, ensure low coefficients of friction and provide anti-corrosion properties.

We are ISO 13485 certified and our entire range of coatings has been evaluated under UNE-EN-ISO 10993 (Biological evaluation of medical devices).

Qualitative evaluation of crops

Cell cytotoxicity: Biological evaluation of the toxicity of the coating.

Irritation: Determination and classification of the irritant potential of the coating.

Sensitization: Determination of the risk of sensitization that the coating may cause in contact with the body.

Qualitative evaluation of the cultures: Photographs of the cultures obtained after 48 hours of contact are shown.
